Isabel Marias successfully defended her Action Dueling World Championship tonight against the duelist, "Escher". In a post-match press conference, when she was asked if she had any opponents she'd like to face next...



"Y'know, I still haven't dueled Jean. I'll be honest with you - I'm kind of avoiding that one. She's scary when she wants to be." [Isabel shakes her head.] "She acts all cute and unassuming, but take it from me, she's actually terrifying. I'd rather get back in the ring with Touki than risk making her mad. There is one person though..."



"You made an excuse to stay out of the tournament, you keep ducking behind weak excuses like tests and books and hide down in Super Junior like a big fish in a small pond! People keep calling you a 'pioneer', but all I've seen you pioneer is how to skate out of a challenge anytime it shows up - stop making excuses, step in the ring with me and I'll knock those goggles off your head, Yuya Sakaki!"

After declaring the challenge to Super Junior duelist and pioneer of the Pendulum Summoning method, Yuya Sakaki, Marias was asked about the meteoric rise in the Action Dueling division of Reiji Akaba and if he was somebody else she planned to duel soon. Marias just smiled and said:



"He's not on my radar. And he's not on my level. G'night, guys."

Marias left shortly afterwards.
