[Event Post] Halloween Haunted Hotel Party at the Equinox

::Welcome, welcome to the costume party at the Equinox, which has a quasi Victorian air to it.
The party is located in the front foyer and the main garden grounds of the hotel, with tables of food and drink prepared, and plenty of conversation pieces. People are wandering about in costumes both elaborate and simple.
There's plenty of merry making, you should all gladly talk to one another, but if you're feeling risky, maybe venture into the closed Western Wing of the hotel that is under renovation.
If you're wondering who could afford to rent out the hotel for this nighttime event, it appears to be a group called the Tannhauser Society, which if you look it up, seems to be some generic something or other NGO or Charitable organization.
In the back of the Foyer is a Romanticism style painting of a red-haired maiden in armor with what appears to be Celeb Blade - Death Wild, leading a revolutionary pose. It adds to the antiquity of the building tonight, which adds a bit of a chill.
Otherwise there's general pumpkins, skeletons, bats, cauldrons and the like to add to the Halloween atmosphere.
The host is a cloaked figure with the name tag "Sister Fingers". Probably an elaborate costume.
But feel free to interact, nothing strange will happen tonight.::

*The words she was saying were unnerving and putting Yuya on edge. He knew she was just trying to get under his skin again and... as much as he wanted to resist it bothering him, it did bother him. A lot.
He looked incredibly nervous.
With that, he reaches out for Yuzu's hand.*
I think we need to go.
no subject
H-huh? What...?
*wait, Yuya's been looking at this other person here... a girl...
... wait. Yuzu narrows her eyes, and grips Yuya's hand firmly, assuredly. She is NOT having this girl ruin the night, and now-- NOW she has an idea of what she looks like.*
Right, let's get moving. Take deep breaths while we go, okay?
no subject
R-Right.
*Yuya grips Yuzu's hand firmly himself and he allows her to start leading him away from the girl, taking in slow deep breaths as they do, to try and calm himself down.
Though as they start moving away, he does briefly glance back at her, checking that she isn't following them.*

Dragons can try and run, but in they end, they always get hunted down by some hero or wizard. Dragons can't live in this world, it's why they don't exist anymore in the world of man.
We slew them to establish our own reality.
Or so the story goes.
::She's sitting there, chatting up her audience, tapping her fan, and wiping her sweat with her cloth.::

*Yuya hears what she says as he moves away.
That story she was telling made him feel so uneasy.
Seeing that she wasn't following, he turns his head away from her and concentrates on making his way through the crowd of other party goers with Yuzu.*

Right now, all she's doing is telling weird stories about dragons. And far as anyone ELSE here thinks, it's all part of the Bit of her costume. So the best thing to do is to increase the distance.
Which is what she's doing with Yuya right now, and once they can get outside, she turns to him, looking worried.*
... You going to be okay?
no subject
Y-yeah. I just.
I just need to sit down for a moment.
*He wanders over to a nearby low wall and sits down on it with a heavy sounding sigh.*
Thanks for getting me out of there.
no subject
*Sits down next to you, Yuya. She's sticking close by you no matter what!*
It's no problem. I'm always going to try to help.
I am annoyed our night kinda got ruined by her showing up... but that was always sorta a risk right now...
*she is thinking though.*
no subject
*He lets out a sigh.*
Yeah. It was an open invitation party so... there was always a chance she'd be here.
It's not like she did anything but tell a weird story, but, I guess I'm still really on edge about her and Hibiki too.
no subject
*she pauses, thinking about it a little. Well, better to ask than to assume* ... Do you want to talk about why that story bothered you?
no subject
*He takes a deep breath.*
I knew it was directed at me to start with. She was watching me when she started that story.
But, I guess it was all the talk in it about 'not trusting dragons'. How they go berserk, 'attacking everyone around them.'
How one served a 'tyrannical lord' and how people were gullible to believe them.
It just seemed like a really artsy way of relating it to me and Z-ARC.
Or, I dunno... maybe it's just my head jumping to conclusions.
no subject
Given how she approached you before, you're probably not jumping to conclusions. She clearly has some thorn in her side about you... And I dunno why, or if it's because she does know Hibiki and he told her things to paint how she sees you and Yuto and...
Well, it's obvious she was trying to get under your skin, but the fact that she had to do it through some weird story means she won't approach you in public like that. Making a scene herself is clearly not her goal?
*Yuzu is definitely trying to work all of this out-- the best way to stop this is to learn whatever she can, even out of a crummy situation like this...!*
no subject
Yeah. You're right.
She obviously doesn't want to draw attention to herself and make a scene. So whatever issue she has with me and my brothers, it's something she's targeting us for either when we're on our own, or though obscure ways, like that story.
Maybe just getting under our skin and getting reactions is all she's aiming for?
no subject
Complete bullying behavior, that's all it is in the end.
no subject
Yeah, and I guess I just need to face it like any bullying situation where they're just looking for a reaction.
*He gets up from the wall, looking more determined.*
To show that I'm not going to let it get to me!
no subject
*standing up as well, pumping her fist*
Right!
But... if you're not comfortable going back to the party yet, don't force yourself to do it, okay? I don't mind if you just wanna call it a night and go watch movies.
no subject
It's okay, we can go back in for a bit longer. We'll just avoid where ever she is the best we can.
Besides, I haven't snagged those party snacks yet!
*At least he seems to have cheered up a bit now!*
no subject
*... she giggles a little*
You're right. I'm not leaving without a slice of that cake, at least!
no subject
Let's go hit those food tables!
