[Closed Event Post]
::Onni, you've been called into an estate built into one of the TOPS Plates, where the owner was celebrating a party. His private vault has been robbed. By the Puppet Princess.
Before heading into the vault, you may observe a British looking woman with red-pink hair with a young girl with African looking skin and hair, together, in dinner dresses. You can talk to them.
Or your mother-in-law in a frilly bratty pink dress with Violet in a female tuxedo. You can tell they're bored out of their minds.
If you don't, inside the vault, which is also part occult office, there's a woman with short blue-purple hair and glasses, in a dinner dress. It seems the owner is busy.
Oh, and the entire vault door has been torn off But that's a minor detail for a 20-30 foot tall vault door, right?.::

Because I'm cute, duh.

::The fem tuxedo looks very nice on her. She's doing everything to play down the fact she has the sort of figure women around you seem to have.::
no subject
That's not a good thing, Hiroko. But tell me about this world class chef - was everyone here to see them?
no subject
::Airquotes heavily.::
no subject
Do you know what uh, "magic stuff" was on auction, or should I go ask the people in charge about it. Curious what you were interested in, from the layperson's view.
no subject
::Patting Hiroko on the head. She has three marbles for brain cells rattling inside that empty head.::
no subject
That's not a bad thing? Right?
::Rattle, rattle, rattle.::
no subject
Well, Hiroko? Can you remember what appealed to you besides the chef? Surely you didn't just come all the way here for the food...
no subject
Hrm.
Good food. Got to show off my cute dress. Key of Babylon. Hand of Malevolence. Starlit Codex. The Scintillant Caress. The Aura of The Beast. Elder Ring. Pendant of Eldertide Mystery. ... Hrm.
I'm trying to think, I must have had some reason for coming out... but I just honestly can't remember.
My wife's too pretty.

::Noogies Hiroko's head.::
no subject
[ He takes out a notepad, jotting down the artifacts Hiroko rattled off. ]
Anything I should know about the people running this? Do the vibes seem off? Anything seem weird to either of you? Again, can be anything, just looking for a regular person's eye of the situation before I head in.
no subject
Uh. The owner of the place is a really fat bald guy from Germany who emigrated and naturalized. I don't remember guys' names well. Or their faces.
no subject
no subject
And I dunno, anything that screams to your gut that it's. Wrong. Or shouldn't be. Or makes you inherently suspicious.
no subject
The fact there's a man in Domino that isn't Jinn, you or Shikou?
no subject
That and I think I heard the name Mudoji floating around. That sounds familiar.
no subject
[ Mudoji... like Kamala's friend? And like that politician that nearly caused the Sector Security coup...? Hrm. ]
As for private citizens being allowed to own and sell magical stuff like this, well, that's at least partially what I plan to get to the bottom of.
...I think that might be everything I need from you two, unless you can think of anything else. I would love to chat but, duty does call, after all.
no subject
If I remember anything, I'll tell you.
no subject
Don't be a stranger, you're always welcome at my place, hun.
no subject
...R...right. Of course. I'll pay a visit sometime soon, but m-maybe not when I'm on the clock, yeah?
[ Perhaps... perhaps he forgot how scary Violet can be. ]
no subject
::Tapping a finger on your chest.::
A big important case to deal with, Mr. Officer.
::Purring, almost instinctively. Tap. Tap. Tap.::
no subject
[ Moves his eyes off to the side. Deep breaths, Onni, calm and steady. ]
And hopefully, the sooner I get this wrapped up, the sooner I can help you two with your own case. Apologies that this is taking priority.
no subject
And it does seem like the Puppet Princess is getting bolder.
::Pause.::
... I do remember something. A perfume that smelled extremely sweet, but almost like it was hiding a scent of rot.
no subject
[ ...I know a smell like that. It's hard to remember right now where, but it sounds familiar. Quickly, he opens his notebook and jots it down. ]
...I'll keep that in mind, Violet. That's very helpful. But, I think I should get the reports from the other guests and make my way to the vault.
no subject
We'll be over here if you need us~
::Waves.::
no subject
Anyway. Let's review. A smell like "sweet perfume over rot". A magical artifact auction that might not have been sanctioned. The proprietor is German and seems to be one of the few guys in the city who Noriko hasn't warped... the name Mudoji has been thrown around, which was definitely part of a certain group that caused Noriko and I no end of trouble...
Mm. Only a few pieces, really. But let's step up to Kamala's friend and her... mother, I believe? I spoke to her once before, I think... ]
I hope I'm not intruding, just trying to get everyone's stories. Amahara Onni, with Sector Security. Neither of you are hurt, are you?

no subject
That's not a particularly good sign.
no subject
Spare no detail, anything could be helpful - oh, and, uh, please state your names for the record - for protocol's sake.
[ He's already got a notepad out. ]

She did basically put on a huge show in the main hall here but had two assistants keep the rest of the party away from her and the owner as they Dueled. She used a Gimmick Puppet Deck with unusually named Xyz.
And once the Duel was over had her ace rip open the vault.
Her ace monster looked a lot like her in its first form at least.
no subject
One of her assistants was a knight in heavy armor.
The other was a really... under dressed ninja.
no subject
[ Is scribbling things down in a notebook. It'd probably be faster with a tablet or maybe some sort of wrist-mounted computer, but call him old fashioned. ]
Do you remember the name of the monster? I can cross-reference that with the I2 databases and see if anything comes up.
...A knight in heavy armor and a underdressed ninja... anything that might have made those two stand out, aside from the obvious? Knowing she has accomplices can actually be helpful, here.
no subject
::You will find no such card exists in I2 or Kaiba Corp's Databases.::
no subject
no subject
And a top-heavy blond with a... purple-platinum-haired ninja...
[ ...There's no way, Onni. You're overthinking it. You don't even have any evidence. At best, it's a coincidence... for now. Scribbling it down. ]
That's a lot to go off of, actually, thank you both. And to be clear - neither of you were hurt in any way?
no subject
no subject
::Chuckles lightly, patting Destinee on the head.::
no subject
I suppose now is the time for you to ask me questions, if you'd like. As well as volunteer any other information you think might be important - anything that seemed off even by the extraordinary circumstances, and the like.
no subject
no subject
And in any case, last I bothered licking, I think it was a hundred and seventy two.
no subject
And I haven't confirmed it, strictly speaking, yet. But the thief stole documents relevant to the religious sect I am a member of.
no subject
::After Onni leaves the couple, a blonde haired woman walks up to them, in a very nice red evening dress.::
Ms. Kiriyama. Ms. Kurochi. Having a good night?
::She's sipping on some red wine.::
no subject
But we've been taking care of ourselves.
no subject
Yeah, just my memory's soup, ma'am.
no subject
Is that so? Perhaps I can help you with a refresher.
::Pulls out a gold yen coin on a silver chain, swinging it, slowly. As both women fall into a trance...::
Let's talk.
