First off, I apologize for the racket I will doubtlessly cause, and the running I will doubtlessly do after said racket. It's better if our communication is kept strictly to this letter. Trust me on this one.
I am two things. First and foremost, I am an Elemental Hero enthusiast. Secondly, I am something of a fan of yours. These two facts are not unrelated, I assure you. Not since Hibiki Kouyou have I seen somebody wield Elemental Heroes with the...style that you do. So, naturally, I was very happy to learn that you would soon be entering the Pro Leagues with Mr. Kouyou as your manager.
Thus, and I hope you do not find me to be too forward with this, but I have observed many of your duels at Duel Academy, and have found that while your style and cleverness in Duels are top-notch, the technical side of your deck is...lacking something. Thus, taking notes of your deck choices, I have assembled what I hope will help you. I will completely understand and not take offense (although, obviously, I'll never know) if you crumple this letter, toss it over your shoulder, and go about your business.
First things first. Base E-Heroes aren't very good, but unfortunately, for a lot of the fusions, they're essential. So, cut out one each of Featherman, Burst Lady, Sparkman, and Clayman. Ocean and Forestman's effects aren't all that reliable either, so, ditch one copy of both of them. Friendog is okay, but again, his effect isn't as reliable as it should be, compared to what you could be running, so drop both. King of the Swamp is a great card, but with the other stuff you're gonna be doing (like Synchro), the focus on him will hurt more than help. Ditch one.
Necro Darkman...he can be ditched for Thunder Giant or Plasma Viceman, and then you can drop Edgeman yes, but it's just way too situational, and most of the time he'll just be dead weight in your hand, so get rid of him. Neos has practically no utility in this deck since none of his support is showing up (which is a good thing, since the Neo-Spacians are all balls). He's a very iconic card, yes, but...he's just not very good. Ditch him.
Three Polys when you have two Kings of the Swamp doesn't bode all that well for you. Drop one Poly. O - Oversoul can only revive normal E-Heroes, so I'd just forget it entirely. The only E-Heroes you're gonna wanna revive are gonna be the ones with effects. Ditch both Oversouls. Skyscraper is a very handy card, but you don't need two with Captain Gold. Ditch one. And there are better choices for S/T elimination for R - Righteous Justice. Drop one. Hope of Fifth is good drawtech if you can get into a good groove with ditching heroes, and then constantly recycling them, but unfortunately it clashes HORRIBLY with Miracle Fusion. Ditch one.
A Hero Emerges is a pretty jank card. Yes, it fits thematically, but not very much beyond that. Drop both. Hero Signal's a good card in its ability to instantly tutor Airman, Prisma, etc. from your deck, but there's better. Ditch one. Hero Barrier is a perfect example of "Dozens of other cards do this in far better ways". Ditch both. Elemental Recharge is interesting, but when you get to the point where you need the life points it grants, you're probably only gonna have one or two E-Heroes on your field, if that. Ditch two.
That's all for subtractions. Let's get to additions.
First off, Hane Kuriboh. You're probably already running it, but, just to make sure. Add it in.
Secondly, Elemental Hero Prisma. It is, literally, the BEST Elemental Hero card, and the best fusion support card in the entire game. You want to run this card. You want to run two copies of this card. If you don't, then the only people running it will be those dirty Gladiator Beast users. You don't want that, do you?
Then there's Elemental Hero The Heat. He's good. You don't use him for fusion, he's there for pure brawn. Just one Elemental Hero besides him and he's at 2000. That's pretty goldarn good. Add one.
Then, there's tuners. The Synchros you're gonna wanna focus on are Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth, Goyo Guardian, and Colossal Fighter. Since both Goyo and Gaia are level six, add in two Jutte Fighters. They're level 2, so they tune with all the level 4 E-Heroes with ease.
Lastly, there's Card Trooper. He mills cards for Miracle Fusion or Hope of Fifth, jumps to 1900 in the process, and replaces himself when he's destroyed. He's just, all around, a GREAT card. Add in one.
The first thing for spells is that you want more ways to search. The good thing about Heroes is that you can get it to the point where you don't NEED to worry about drawing the right card because you can just grab whatever you want from your deck yourself. Reinforcement of the Army just became unlimited, so add two copies. Remember that in a pinch, Reinforcement can grab Jutte Fighter as well as E-Heroes.
Next up is Skyscraper II - Hero City. Once per turn, revives an E-Hero that was destroyed by battle. It can't grab fusions, obviously, but the ability to continuously grab Airman, Prisma, etc. is amazing and should be capitalized on.
Speaking of revival, Monster Reborn. It's awesome. Run it.
Mystical Space Typhoon is also awesome. Run it as well.
You'll also need drawtech. You technically -can- go with Pot of Greed or Graceful Charity, but if you wanna avoid the banned cards (which all the cool kids do), add in a copy of Hand Destruction. It combos with Miracle Fusion and Hope of Fifth very well.
Now, traps. You'll want negators. First off, attack negators. Add in one Negate Attack, one Mirror Force. Spell/Trap negation, add in one Dark Bribe. Lastly, for all purpose negation, add in two copies of Solemn Judgment.
Lastly, Synchros and Fusions. The only fusion you'll want is Elemental Hero Gaia. Add in two copies of him. As for Synchros, add in two copies each of Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth, Goyo Guardian and Colossal Fighter.
All told, after it's done, your deck should look like this:
01. Hane Kuriboh 02. Elemental Hero Airman 03. Elemental Hero Burst Lady 04. Elemental Hero Clayman 05. Elemental Hero Forestman 06. Elemental Hero Ocean 07. Elemental Hero Featherman 08. Elemental Hero Sparkman 09. Elemental Hero Captain Gold 10. Elemental Hero Captain Gold 11. Elemental Hero Wildman 12. Elemental Hero Wildman 13. Elemental Hero Prisma 14. Elemental Hero Prisma 15. Elemental Hero The Heat 16. King of the Swamp 17. King of the Swamp 18. Jutte Fighter 19. Jutte Fighter 20. Card Trooper
21. Elemental Hero Edgeman
22. Polymerization 23. Polymerization 24. Miracle Fusion 25. Miracle Fusion 26. E-Emergency Call 27. E-Emergency Call 28. Reinforcment of the Army 29. Reinforcment of the Army 30. Mystical Space Typhoon 31. Hand Destruction 32. Skyscraper 33. Skyscraper II - Hero City 34. Hope of Fifth 35. R-Righteous Justice 36. Monster Reborn
37. Hero Signal 38. Hero Signal 39. Negate Attack 40. Mirror Force 41. Dark Bribe 42. Solemn Judgment 43. Solemn Judgment
*Juudai stands there and blinks at the note. He wonders who this is from. A fan it seems. He smiles, guess it can't hurt to build this deck and give it a try to see how he fairs with it. Thus he folds the note back up and goes back inside his house*
