[Story and News Report]
It's night time in Domino City, and despite the bright lights that come with the Christmas months, the weather is making being outside an unpleasant proposition for most of the population. But, despite the fierce weather, there are at least two people overjoyed to be outside tonight.
"Of course I'll marry you!" The dark haired girl responsed to her suitor, not entirely believing that she was actually just proposed to. She pinched herself on the cheek and dove into her new fiance's arms, who caught her despite being rather thin himself.
"Houf! Why are you so shocked, I told you had a Christmas surprise!" The boy said, grinning widely despite his cynical response.
The two held each other for a few moments as the snow slowly fell around them.
"Except..." The girl went on, her lover's eyebrow raising. "It's cold, stupid! Let's go home!" she whined. An eyeroll and a dirty look later, the two were on their bike and happily heading home.
Not counting the bike following them, of course.
As the couple rode, pondering their future together, the bike following them began to flash it's headlights...

"...Sadly, this Christmas evening was marred, with police reporting a Domino couple was assaulted while on their bike. Due to the wishes of their family, their names are not being released. Police are reporting that the man has suffered serious injuries but is currently stable, while the woman is currently in critical condition.
Despite the circumstances of the attack, Police are denying any relation between this incident and the 'Ghost' attacks that occured earlier this year, stating the attacked couple were NOT riding a D-Wheel, but are insisting they will find the culprit shortly.."
