[Yuzu is in the locker room sitting on a bench. She's pulled her hair back into a single ponytail and she has a towel on her head. She looks...exhausted in every sense. She's usually pretty emotional and reactive, but it's pretty clear that that duel took all of her energy. But, she's sticking around and talking to the press, anyway.
The first thing she's asked is how she's doing after the duel since, especially at the end, it looked like she took a nasty bump.]
Uh, well...I went back to the trainers room. And they gave me a test, and I passed it, so. I don't think I have a concussion. My head...really hurts. But the rest of it is just bumps and scrapes and I've been getting those in Action Duels since I was 7, so. [She lets out a breath.] I think I'll be fine.
[She's asked about her last turn and the finish of the duel. She rubs her head.]
I, um. So after I summoned Bloom Prima, I thought I had a good chance of winning that turn. I attacked...and I was trying to stop Hayate from getting an Action Card and...I was trying to stop him without knocking him out, but...he fell out of the ring, so I had to go after Shark instead, and he's really fast, so...he managed to get out of it.
Then after Shark's turn...Isao came back in. And I was trying to get Isao out of the ring so I could take my turn again. [She sighs.] I did the one thing I knew I shouldn't do and I took my eyes off of someone. And...he got me.
[She's asked about Ryozanpaku's continued physicality in duels. She takes in and lets out a huff.]
I don't back down from anyone. So if somebody wants to do something with me during a duel...I'll respond to it! But...I also think. People should be allowed to do their own dueling and they should be able to do it with the expectation that they won't get dragged into a another kind of dueling against their own will. If somebody doesn't want to do that kind of thing during a duel, then I think dragging them into a fight, that's really messed up!
A really close friend of mine was set on getting into this duel, for the Super Junior Championship, and...because he was hurt in a duel with Isao, he couldn't participate. And I think that's really messed up. So. [She shrugs.] I gave Isao a taste of his own medicine during the duel. I dunno if the rules are gonna change, but. But there needs to be some kinda consequences for attacking someone who wants no part of any physical stuff like that in a duel. If this is gonna be a situation where we have to handle each other ourselves, I....really don't have a problem being the one who does it! I'm not really a fighter. I'm not trained in that kinda thing. I just know, I'm sick of watching people who just wanna duel without any of that physical stuff get dragged into it and get hurt.
But...I knew what to expect, tonight. I knew what was coming and I thought I knew how to deal with it. [She grimaces.] I can't use it as an excuse for me.
[She's asked what her plans are now. Her eyes narrow a bit. All of Yuzu's usual exuberance and hot-headedness was just gone in this interview, owing to her exhaustion. But right now...there's definitely a fire in her eyes.]

I'll tell you this.
Hayate hasn't seen the last of me yet.
