I, Ark, your favorite host, will be putting up top posts for threads. React to posts and we'll sort it out as needed. As per Linka: "You can work out with other players if you want to do a particular scene, but main scenes will be clearly marked and moved ahead on at a hopefully steady rate.

::Well, we're doing it, we're stepping on through to the other side. On the other side is a fairly ho-hum alleyway of crates, barrels and planks leaning against walls.

The area feels too quiet though. Far too quiet for a city that just got invaded by a Kaz. Why is it so damn quiet.::

*As soon as they enter the other side, Juudai instantly glances around to gauge the area they're in and does indeed find it much too quiet.
After Kaz barged into the portal without much care, he was expecting some chaos or confusion... or maybe a trial of flames or something, who knows.*

::A bit too few people mulling around but yeah, it seems like Kaz didn't even happen even though you clearly saw him reach this side.::

... I'm not sure whether to take the silence as a blessing or a bad omen.

It means the city hasn't fallen yet.

*Kai steps through-- and he immediately feels like something's "off", or maybe even familiar about here. What's this feeling... he's felt it before, but...

Well, whatever happened, we should make a move to do what we came here to do.

I'm sure wherever Kaz is, he'll find us eventually.
