[Happy New Year Event]
*Today's the first of the new year. It's pretty chilly outside, but the cold is no excuse to not partake in normal traditions like going to a shrine and praying for a good year.
So, there's a shrine in Domino. Maybe not as extensive as some outside of the city, but it's fairly nice, and it's pretty much bustling given the day. There's some stalls set up serving some Seasonally Appropriate Foods as well. You can go up and give an offering at the shrine itself, or go and pull a fortune from the omikuji.
Also girls and those otherwise who may want to do so might want to wear a kimono, if they have one. It's traditional.*

*Normally Yuya would love the chance to dress up in something different, but he's stood by the omikuji dressed in a coat and scarf to combat the chilly weather. He looks down at the fortune he'd just pulled and with a sigh, he ties the slip of paper to the wire wall.*
no subject
*despite your morose attitude, someone's coming up that you may want to see at least. It's Yuzu!
Clearly her dad insisted on the kimono, cause she's wearing a very pink and fruit-like pattern one with a fuzzy lining to it.*
no subject
*If there's one thing that can cheer Yuya up, it's usually Yuzu, and as he looks up in response to her calling out to him, he gives her a smile as she approaches.*
Yuzu!
*He takes note of the kimono that she's wearing. He could definitely tell her dad probably had a hand in it, but it suited her.*
You look great!
no subject
*she twirls a bit in it.*
What've you been up to? Were you getting your fortune for the year?
no subject
Hahaaa-- yeah! *He rubs the back of his head a little sheepishly.* It wasn't particularly good, so I tied it up.
Though I guess it could of been worse.
*He looks back at the wire wall with the fortunes tied on it for a moment and you may catch a small frown appear on his face.
Maybe he was hoping for something a bit better from it?*
no subject
*she fidgets for a moment, as though trying to figure out what to say here.*
Do you... want to talk about it?
no subject
*Yuya stands in a stunned silence for a moment, though he felt he shouldn't be surprised she picked up on how he was feeling so fast. She always did.
Slowly, he gives her a nod to indicate that he'd like to talk about it with her. He definitely seems to have some troubles he wants to get out.
Nearby them are a few benches, which seems like a good spot to talk.*
no subject
*without thinking about it, she takes his hand to help lead him through anyone milling by so they can reach the benches.*
no subject
*Yuya allows her to lead him to the benches by hand, through the people who are hanging around the shrine. Once they'd sat down, it took a moment for Yuya to really find the words to even start what he wanted to talk about.*
I'm just... really worried about my brothers.
Yuri is still missing and we can't contact him.
Yugo spends almost any time he can out looking for him.
And Yuto... he's completely closed himself off from everyone.
*He looks down at his hands, which he's rubbing together in a nervous motion. There was a good chance that this had been eating at him most of the holidays and he was hiding it behind a cheerful exterior, as he usually does.*
I'm not sure what to do.
no subject
To be honest, I've noticed how much they've sorta... distanced themselves, after your duel with Reira. I don't remember everything too clearly, yet... But I do know that they did things they probably regret, or find weird compared to now. Yuri, especially.
*she fidgets with her hands a little, nervously*
I'm thinking, maybe... You shouldn't wait around to see if they work past this, themselves? I don't think you should try to figure out what you can do for them at the same time, but maybe approach them one by one? Like, I dunno... Maybe offer to help Yugo out with trying to find Yuri, and work from there?
no subject
I guess Yugo would be the easiest to start with. He's at least around at times, even if it's scarce at the moment.
I'm just... *He gives out a sigh.*
... I'm just scared that I'm going to lose them if I don't do something. That we'll all drift too far apart.
I don't want to lose them.
no subject
Serena's probably been the closest thing to being like a sister to me in a lot of ways but not exactly, but she's basically accepted all of this stuff beforehand. And I don't talk to Rin and Ruri as much as I'd like...
... Actually, I wonder if Rin or Ruri remembered anything. Yugo would probably be the one who'd know best about Rin, since he's always going off to be with her... But if Ruri hasn't remembered anything, or Kurosaki, then that might explain why Yuto's been so closed off? He was always closest to them, wasn't he?
no subject
Yeah, you're right. They'd be the ones he'd most likely turn to right now, but if they haven't remembered, and he feels too confused to turn to us...
... I guess I'll just have to figure out a way to get through to him somehow.
no subject
*... she bops her fist into her hand.*
I got it, then. I'll try to talk to Ruri and Kurosaki. Worst case, they might not remember anything... But best case scenario, maybe there's some miscommunication going on, and someone needs to get them to understand. Kurosaki especially is really... *... she doesn't want to say something really rude about him.* Prickly, but I can handle him.
I think either way, they'll be the best way to get through to him so he can work past this. Even if they don't remember, they're his friends, right? Friends should be there for each other.
Until then though... you should try to figure out ways to be with him. Make up excuses so he can't just hide away somewhere. He can't avoid being in the same place as you forever, right?
no subject
Yeah. Yeah, you're right! It's worth a try! Hopefully at least one of them remembers something and can help him!
And I'll try my best to do what I can to be with him. It's been a little difficult as he's mostly been hiding in his room, but you're right that he can't avoid me forever!
*At least Yuya seems a little more positive about the situation now!*
no subject
*she laughs a little, but it gradually goes a little... nervous.*
Say, uh... Yuya? You didn't happen to remember anything else recently, right?
no subject
*He looks at her curiously.*
What kind of 'anything else'? Is it something you've remembered?
no subject
*definitely a nice save, yep, there's no way he can tell. She gets up.*
Still, there's all of the shrine to still check out, right?
no subject
*Yuya stands up too and smiles at her, before leaning in and giving her a small hug.*
Thanks for the talk, Yuzu. I really needed it.
*Suddenly, a flash of a memory enters Yuya's mind, of himself and Yuzu parting ways at the Wonder Quartet.
And a goodbye kiss that he'd forgotten.
As he remembered it, his body goes slightly tense, just for a small second, he then slowly breaks the hug, looking at Yuzu as if he's just realised something.
He then quickly attempts to compose himself when he realises he's staring.*
Ah, right! Yes! Shrine! We should go and check that out!
no subject
Y-yeah! Shrine! Then we can look at the stalls that're around, too! T-that is, if you want? You feeling up for it?
no subject
Ah! Sure! I think that's a great idea! Maybe they have some good food too!
no subject
no subject
*Akira's found you.*
Your kimono looks nice.
no subject
And thanks. I tried to buy the most expensive custom service I could get.
no subject
*he goes up to the omikuji fortune, inserting his donation cost*
I guess we'll just see how this goes too. Maybe I can try to siphon off some of your supernatural luck?
no subject
::Waves her hands at you.::
no subject
shows it. "TERRIBLE LUCK".*
Looks like I'm not going to have the best of years.
no subject
Am. Am I some sort of luck vampire?

Guess this explains why I ended up losing track of my uncle though. Already not having a good start to the year. *he gives off a little laugh, like he's trying to wave it off, as he goes to tie up the fortune in hopes to appease whatever god is spiting him at the moment.*
no subject
no subject
... But if you want to walk around for a bit with me, I wouldn't mind that.

And he really looks like being here, he definitely knows he's out of his element...*
no subject
Are you looking for something... Yamada-san was it?
no subject
*he shakes his head slightly*
I lost track of where my nephew is, thanks to this crowd. I'm sure I'll find him eventually.
no subject

no subject
So. No biggie?
no subject
Fine, then. If you want to help, I don't mind the assistance.
Have you ever met my nephew?
no subject
But I assume he looks like you?
no subject
Only he still looks like he has himself together.
no subject
::It seems she thinks you have yourself together.::
no subject
no subject
Trust me, you have yourself together. At least more than me, Yamada-san.
