[Jumbo Holiday Event Post]
::Season's greetings, it's time for merry and cheer, and spending time with friends and family, and just general warmth in this, the chilliest time of the year.
And in fitting with that, there's three places to run in with folks and talk!
Option A
The Domino Plaza, it's being set up with Real Solid Vision Displays with all sorts of nice Christmas and Winter themed items, including Snowmen, and Santa and Elves. And even Santa Claws is roaming around!
Option B
You can be at Duel Academy where Kitty and Yuya are holding a Christmas Party full of decorations and tables of food, and even fruit punch. And there's even a place out of the way where some Misteltoe has been put up by some mischievous soul.
Option C
At Kaikori, in the private tutoring building, the auditorium has been purposed into a party and dinner hall for folks to mingle, and Kaikori itself has been decorated by a certain local Goddess who loves Christmas.
Have some fun, or if you want, get your cast in trouble on this holy night.::

Re: Option A
I'm a relative of his, that's what I mean by that.
Re: Option A
Huh. He's never said he had a relative that looks so much like him!
*Yuma gives him a big goofy grin.*
Next time I see him I'll have to say I ran into you!
Re: Option A
*hnm, now that you think about it, Hitoshi's been pretty quiet...*
Re: Option A
*Yuma does note that he hadn't really gotten to speak or see Hitoshi much lately and the last time they talked was just after the incident with Kotori, where he said he'd been home the whole month.
That said, he'd been distracted with helping Kotori the last few months, so maybe their paths just hadn't crossed.*
Er... sure! I can mention it to him, when I next see him. I haven't seen much of him lately but I've been kinda busy.
Re: Option A
*Meanwhile, the young woman sat on the bench next to the tall guy appears to be looking at Yaku with an expression that seems to say she doesn't entirely trust you, but she's choosing to remain silent and let the guy she's with do the talking.*
Re: Option A
I wonder what's keeping him out of the limelight... Well, whatever. If you do see him tonight, tell him to keep around this area, maybe? It'd be a little easier, at least.
Re: Option A
Yeah, no problem! I'll let him know if I see him!
Re: Option A
He waves a bit and walks away.
... it may only be after like 10-20 seconds that you realize you never got a name out of him.*
Re: Option A
He seems nervous just being outside, but there's enough people here...*
Re: Option A
*Upon seeing him, Yuma does the same thing as before. He shouts out Hitoshi's name and waves at him to get his attention.*
Yo! Hitoshi!!
Re: Option A
H-hello, Yuma. Mizuki-san...
Re: Option A
*Both of them greet him as he goes over to them.*
Hey man! How's things?
We haven't really gotten to catch up much lately!
Re: Option A
After I visited my family back in Hokkaido for a month, after graduation, mom and dad agreed to help set me up into an apartment until I get a decent job and everything, but they won't agree to send me to Duel College or anything until they know if I'm going to be going to there for two to four years.
So I've been still trying to convince them of that.
Re: Option A
Hmmn. It's a shame they're currently refusing to send you to Duel College, but at least they've helped you set up into an apartment.
I wish you luck with convincing them.
Re: Option A
Well, that isn't for now. Are you both doing alright?
(1/2)
*Kotori gives him a small smile and a nod.*
Things have been getting better for us. I've been getting help and we're slowly working towards getting back to some kind of normality.
(2/2)
We're gonna be spending the New Year with family, so I think that downtime is gonna really help too!
Oh! *Yuma quickly seems to remember something.
Talking of family, we saw someone who said they were a relative of yours not that long ago. They seemed to be looking for you!
no subject
... were they blonde? Please tell me they weren't. I was hoping he'd stay to just stalking me...
no subject
*She suddenly looks a lot more serious.*
I'll admit there was something about him I really didn't trust and we realised after he left that he never even gave us his name.
Who is he?
no subject
I... don't know, actually. The one I'm thinking of is my uncle, and he doesn't bear too much resemblance to me...
*he tries to think* To be fair, I don't really know a whole lot of my extended family, since they live... very far away. *other dimensions far away.* But you say someone who looks a lot like me with almost-white hair was looking for me?
no subject
Yeah! He looked so much like you we thought you'd dyed your hair or something!
He told us to tell you to stick around the area tonight, I guess so he can find you.
no subject
Well... if he's still around here, I should probably see what's up with him... *he looks at Kotori though* You said, unm... you didn't really trust him, though?
no subject
*Kotori nods.*
There just seemed to be something off about him that bothered me, but I'm not sure what. The way he interacted with us was kind of odd. He reacted to Yuma calling your name and responded to him that he had the 'wrong one', then tried to explain it as meaning he wasn't you, but a relative.
no subject
Well, I guess it's no surprise if any of my extended family is kinda... really weird, especially if they're more from my grandmother's family.
Sorry though, if he might've put you off.
no subject
I hope everything goes okay with this relative if you're able to find each other.
