[Event Post]
::For Professor Kantei and Principal Yoko (seperate threads if either is interested), you 'lucked' out on the school's night security detail that rotates since for whatever reason, the school's budget request for night security guards keeps getting misfiled enough that they can only handle the school late enough that there needs to be a gap filled by volunteers.
One day, that budget request will be properly filed. Tonight is not that day.
You've been paired up with Mrs. Yuuki! It'll probably be fine until the part-time security guard gets here.::

It feels... sort of stale, like the air feels... old. Wrong?
::Rubbing her chin.::
The place feels like a dream of something that was almost was? Is a way to put it...?
I'm sorry if that's not a lot of help...

*he isn't wholly serious about that notion, mostly making sure there's nothing around corners or on the ceiling as he moves forward*
no subject
Well, it could be a lucid or waking dream, but are we the dreamers? Hmm...
::You keep seeing a shadow of a small bird in corners, ceiling, doors.::
no subject
*yes, but does it feel like it's following us, or guiding us?*
no subject
::Options C: It's watching you but might be trying to do Option B: Guide you as a form of Bait.::
no subject
*a pause*
We should double back and make sure that we can leave.
no subject
Yes, and make sure we don't get trapped.
And I meant more 'someone else's dream', I guess?
no subject
no subject
Or maybe it's the dream of the Universe?
::She's holding onto your sleeve, to make sure she doesn't get drawn in by something.::
no subject
Well, hopefully, we're not in the midst of a philosophical experience or experiment, and this is just a "strange happening" that's occurring here.
no subject
::Which we seem to be able to... We definitely get back to the normal school hall...::

I think we should properly report this instead of investigating further. We lost time.

*he lets out a sigh, looking back at the hallway* I don't know why there's something like this here, or how, but it felt like we were only there for maybe five minutes, at the most. If we did any extensive investigation at that rate, we might go missing for days.
no subject
So what do we do about it?
no subject
But... I do think one of us should stay here while the other goes to try to call it in. Just in case the security guard did already arrive. *don't want them to go wandering into the timewarp hallway, right? ... right?*
no subject
Should I stay, or would you rather handle it?
no subject
Worst case scenario, if some horrifying creature tries to run out of the cursed hallway, I can freeze the entryway and block them.
*you have a vivid mental image of something doing a Wile E. Coyote bit of running into a wall of ice, thinking it's unblocked.*
no subject
You be careful, and don't get tricked.
::She heads off to somewhere with better reception since this area is NOTORIOUS for not getting any.::
no subject
At the least, if I did get tricked, I'd try to make a contingency somehow...*
no subject
no subject
Because it sounds like if I go back in, I'll get hurt.*
