*It's the seventh day of the Festival, in the morning.

And to a lot of people's surprise, it seems like everything's getting packed up. Most of the booths and stands are closed down and getting put away, but it looks like the day's main event is still planned to commence. On the schedules everyone can access, there is only one event for the arena: "Wonder Quartet".

Up until this point, everyone assumed this to be basically a regular tournament to top off the event while everyone enjoyed their final day, but it seems like there's something more, with how hurried the organizers are.

Notably though, around the areas where screens are set up to show dueling video, online streams, and at the arena, there's two countdowns present-- one being for in a few minutes to something simply noted as "Announcement", and the other being for the oft-rumored "Wonder Quartet", a half-hour after that, starting at noon.

Best thing to do right now is to head for the arena, or watch one of the screens present or on your computer/phone/internet device of your choice.*

Well you know, the dinosaur volcano Antartica tournament thingy we're i-

*at some point after the Wonder Quartet's started, there's some... odd things happening.

For one, anyone who checks around the borders of the area will notice there's more guards now. A sort of SWAT team with KaibaCorp's insignia on them. They're very prudent and will ask for identification before even allowing you to go past, so it seems like it'll be a hassle to get out of the area before the Wonder Quartet finishes.

But somewhere else in the Wonder Quartet area, certain people in blue uniforms are starting to make their presence known...*

((This post is to signify that Obelisk Force will be making their move now, and you can expect that this is around 8 hours after the Wonder Quartet's started. KaibaCorp's own soldiers will be keeping check around perimeter, and LDS's moderators will be informing him that they've arrived once they notice them.

[In the middle of the Closed Forest, the air suddenly grows thicker. The ground rumbles, the Real Solid Vision distorting briefly. Before suddenly, the ground beneath the solid vision splits open and a white portal rises out of it.

A woman steps out. Not far behind her is a pink butterfly. The portal vanishes behind them. Both of them look....surprised.]

"I thought we were going home! This is a jungle!"

This is home! I'm sure it is! [She looks around, lips pursed.] I...think...it is.

"Isabelllllllll...!"

Just -- just shut up and help me open up the gate again! We gotta get back as soon as possible! [She's pulling a stone out of her pocket.]

*you hear some rustling about in the jungle depths.

there is definitely someone here other than you and your butterfly friend.*

[Isabel stops...and slips the stone back into her pocket. Instead she starts to bend down, putting a hand on her belt.

She looks around, trying to pick up where the noise came from.]

*well the answer is soon obvious, as some guy in a ponytail comes stumbling out from it. He looks around, not yet noticing Isabel, somewhat flustered.*

Of all my luck to get lost in the middle of a jungle... And a fake one at that. Shameful, me.

*he's also talking to himself he's clearly not having the best time*

[She immediately approaches him.]

Jesus, did they get you too?! Where's Trena, is she okay?!

[She seems pretty....wound up.]

"Get me"? I haven't lost a duel yet--

*wait, who am I talking too. oh, damnit, it's Marias. keep your cool.*

I... think Trendafilka's fine? What're you even talking about, who's getting who now?

... I guess this is pretty hard to believe when you don't realize it, huh. Especially if you've been in Mist Valley until now. Explains the vanishing act.

*he gestures around* This is one big Real Solid Vision action field. For the Wonder Quartet. *to make his point, he goes into one of the underbrush's and pulls out an Action Card. "Shard of Power".*

There's a bunch of these things hiding around and you're supposed to be collecting them and putting them up to bet in duels.

But with this, anything goes. Anyone could end up making it to the top. A champion. A newcomer. Someone that no one's noticed before. And they even get to fight Akaba at the end.

Oh. Well.

That sounds like fun. If you get the title shot, here's a free piece of advice: Load up on Rai-Oh and Pachycephalo. And lots of S/T negation. S'what I was gonna do.

One last thing.

There's moderators going around kicking anyone who doesn't have a Shard registered to their disk out of the dueling area.

And you can't refuse challenges.

Okay, well, if anybody tries to kick me out of anything, I can throw them in a river, so --

[Enzo flies up to her with a Shard of Power.]

"This is quicker."

[Isabel looks at him. He kinda has a point. She just sighs and takes it.]
