[DUEL FESTIVAL - DAY 7]
*It's the seventh day of the Festival, in the morning.
And to a lot of people's surprise, it seems like everything's getting packed up. Most of the booths and stands are closed down and getting put away, but it looks like the day's main event is still planned to commence. On the schedules everyone can access, there is only one event for the arena: "Wonder Quartet".
Up until this point, everyone assumed this to be basically a regular tournament to top off the event while everyone enjoyed their final day, but it seems like there's something more, with how hurried the organizers are.
Notably though, around the areas where screens are set up to show dueling video, online streams, and at the arena, there's two countdowns present-- one being for in a few minutes to something simply noted as "Announcement", and the other being for the oft-rumored "Wonder Quartet", a half-hour after that, starting at noon.
Best thing to do right now is to head for the arena, or watch one of the screens present or on your computer/phone/internet device of your choice.*

Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
*Yuya looks around quickly towards the voice.*
Hayate?!
What do you mean you were surprised I got into it?
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
::Near in front of you suddenly is that other Ryozanpaku member, the one with a blonde 'do and a big wild coat.
Hayate himself is sitting up in a dead tree.::
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
*Yuya doesn't move, but his eyes dart from Hayate to Homura and back. Were they planning on doubling up against him?*
I got into this event the same way as everyone else.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
But that's not the point.
::She loads up her Disk as Hayate leaps down and does the same.::
We're both challenging you to a Duel, and taking you out early.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
*So his hunch was right. They were planning to double up on him.
And the rules state that he isn't able to refuse. The challenge had to be accepted.
Yuya loads up his Disk in acceptance of the duel, though right now he was feeling very cornered.*
Then I'll take you both on!
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
::Opens his coat, revealing multiple secured decks in the inside pockets.::
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
You want Dark Rebellion?!
*Yuya looks at the both of them nervously. Not only would he be putting up his Shard of Power, but Dark Rebellion too? He couldn't let them get a hold of the dragon Yuto entrusted to him.
Also Shun would probably do worse than slamming him against a locker if that happened...
But in the end, he had no choice.*
Fine. I'll put up my Shard of Power.
And Dark Rebellion.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
And the first major Duel of the Wonder Quartet has concluded! Sakaki Yuya scores over 3 Shards of Power using the combination of Action Cards and his new Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon! Turning a Duel like this against the odds shows skill and definite talent! And for now, he's one to beat in the Quartet!
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
... You going to be okay to move, you think?
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
::Moves herself onto her knees, whatever Hayate hit her with, probably had steel tip boots or some shit.::
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
But instead, you're stuck with me right now.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
But you can keep thinking "he's a malevolent rich kid" if you want. I'm not here to stop you. *... they're not?*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
I've gotten my head bashed in by a rich person before. I'm not eager to repeat it. *... they say that so straight-faced that you're not sure if they're joking or not*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
::Stares dumbfounded.::
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
*they tap right around the back top of their head, and it's such an exact spot too* You ever actually get your skull cracked open? A rock would definitely do that.
But a lamp does it all the same, too, with enough force.
*... whoever this person is, they're pretty... grim.*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
But you know what? That's my hang-up. And it's not on me to expect anyone else to accommodate for it, or to react differently to me. That'd just be selfish and ignorant on my part.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
::Pushes herself up.::
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
::On her legs, wobbly.::
Got it.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Yeah, you should shut up. Yeah, you should deal with it. But I never said to let anyone push you around.
I mean, you're welcome to ignore me. Like I said, it's not on me to expect anyone to accommodate to me. But I will say that maybe you should start looking at yourself first before you start slinging blame onto everyone who isn't specifically you and on your level of standard of living.
*they stretch out, cricking their neck*
