[DUEL FESTIVAL - DAY 7]

*It's the seventh day of the Festival, in the morning.

And to a lot of people's surprise, it seems like everything's getting packed up. Most of the booths and stands are closed down and getting put away, but it looks like the day's main event is still planned to commence. On the schedules everyone can access, there is only one event for the arena: "Wonder Quartet".

Up until this point, everyone assumed this to be basically a regular tournament to top off the event while everyone enjoyed their final day, but it seems like there's something more, with how hurried the organizers are.

Notably though, around the areas where screens are set up to show dueling video, online streams, and at the arena, there's two countdowns present-- one being for in a few minutes to something simply noted as "Announcement", and the other being for the oft-rumored "Wonder Quartet", a half-hour after that, starting at noon.

Best thing to do right now is to head for the arena, or watch one of the screens present or on your computer/phone/internet device of your choice.*

I send "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" from my Deck to the Grave to have Prisma become Bestiari!

::A horse appears, swinging a whip, snapping and cracking it back and forth.::

::The horseheaded gladiator snaps its whip, as Bestiari erupts from a portal.::

Now! Contact Fusion! Tamer for the King of Kings! And the hunter of beasts! Fuse together in the depths of the dungeons! Come forth, the Gladiator of the Emperor! Gladiator Beast Gyzarus!

::The creatures merge as a giant falcon erupts and Hayate leaps on its back.::

::Looks around the fortress hall, as her legs start moving, dragging the ball..::

::Grabs a torch from the wall, flicking it to the wooden ground, as the place catches fire.::

::Laughs as the virtual but very hot flames spread.::

Finally I Normal Summon Gladiator Beast Laquari.

::A tiger-lion man appears, flexing among the flames.::

Gyzarus! Laquari! Get her!

::Leaps off the falcon as it swoops forward and steps on her ball's chain, shattering it, and pressing on the remains, holding her in place as she falls, and Laquari pounces at her.::

::She rolls away into the flames.::

... I'll give you a mark for that at least, but we both know your situation is nearly insurmountable, here.

::Waves as his monsters return to his side.::

::Takes a deep breath, hacking on the virtual smoke. She looks over the field, her hand, Hayate's monsters.

'It's always hopeless for me, isn't it?' She thinks to herself. 'Always one step behind. Always outsmarted at the last second. None of my Senpais care about me... Maste Godogawa will throw me away. I've. Got nothing. I'll have failed...'

She gulps. 'I'm crazy... crazy for even considering this... It'll do nothing.'::
