*It's the seventh day of the Festival, in the morning.

And to a lot of people's surprise, it seems like everything's getting packed up. Most of the booths and stands are closed down and getting put away, but it looks like the day's main event is still planned to commence. On the schedules everyone can access, there is only one event for the arena: "Wonder Quartet".

Up until this point, everyone assumed this to be basically a regular tournament to top off the event while everyone enjoyed their final day, but it seems like there's something more, with how hurried the organizers are.

Notably though, around the areas where screens are set up to show dueling video, online streams, and at the arena, there's two countdowns present-- one being for in a few minutes to something simply noted as "Announcement", and the other being for the oft-rumored "Wonder Quartet", a half-hour after that, starting at noon.

Best thing to do right now is to head for the arena, or watch one of the screens present or on your computer/phone/internet device of your choice.*

--YUYA!

[Suddenly heedless of Yuya raising his disk in his direction, Gongenzaka lunges forward. By the time he gets there, there's not enough time to get him out of the way, so he just dives on top of Yuya, landing on all fours --

CRUNCH.]

NRRRRGH!

[And the branch lands right on his back.]

*visibly wincing as he hears the CRUNCH of the branch falling-- and while he was told to stay there, he's quickly going over, Fortune Tune flying next to him*

Are-- are you alright?!

*The moment Gongenzaka dives on top of him, Yuya begins snarling, yelling and struggling like some kind of rabid animal, but despite all of that, it seems he's unable to move.
Which right now, is probably a good thing.*

Nrrghhhh....!

[The branch is on top of Gongenzaka's back and he looks like he's in...just, a hell of a lot of pain. But he's staying right there, on his hands and knees, effectively both pinning Yuya down and keeping the weight of branch off of him. Whether he cares more about stopping this branch from falling on Yuya or keeping him from moving, it's hard to tell.]

Shirou...!

Get...help...!

*he nods, thinking for a moment. It'll be faster if Fortune Tune goes, since he can cover a larger distance-- and also see without issue. He turns his head to try to tell where someone is, and-- right, Yuma. Fortune Tune'll recognize him.*

Fortune Tune, can you please find Yuma? Or just-- anyone, please. Anyone that you recognize. And lead them back here.

*he points in the direction where he feels Yuma is at-- and Fortune Tune twitters, taking off quickly.

He turns back to the situation at hand though, a... complicated expression on his face. That is definitely Yuya that's snarling and yelling, but...*

*Thankfully Yuma isn't too far. He's on the outskirts of the Jungle Zone after hearing some loud sounds coming from within it, but once the sounds stopped, he couldn't navigate his way towards it anymore and got a bit... lost.*

Gaaah, where am I?? I know I heard some weird loud sounds coming from over here, but where...?
Maybe if I climb one of these trees I'll be able to see better...

*He looks up, considering which tree would be the best to climb.*

*when you look up, you spot something fluttering around--

And then divebombing you.*

*Yuma panics when he's divebombed, stepping back and... falling backwards over a log.*

OOF! Ow...

*He rubs his head before he looks up again, only this time, he clearly sees what had divebombed him.*

Fortune...?

*His eyes shoot open wide. Did this mean Shirou was nearby?*

*Fortune Tune twitters, clearly relieved that they found you, but they're flapping their wings rapidly to hover, trying to gesture in the direction they came from.

If Fortune Tune is here, then Shirou must've definitely ended up here too-- but the bird seemed far more alarmed than the usual case of this...*

*Did something happen?! Maybe to Shirou? Yuma wasn't sure what was going on, but he can tell that Fortune wants him to follow it.
Quickly, he jumps to his feet.*

Lead the way, Fortune!!

*Fortune Tune flies ahead for Yuma to follow then, leading through the jungle, until...

He sees the scene. Shirou is there, anxiously waiting. Gongenzaka, a large tree branch on top of him-- and him on top of Yuya, who was thrashing around wildly.

Truly, the question is clear: what the hell happened here.

Though at the least, Shirou notices who's approaching.*

Yuma?

Ghhgh...!

[At this point, the weight is starting to get to Gongenzaka. His arms and legs are visibly starting to buckle.]

Yuya...please...stop moving!

[Yeah, he's not gonna be able to do this a whole lot longer.]

W-what the---!

*Yuma has no idea what's going on, but one thing is clear: He needs to get that tree branch off Gongenzaka and quick.
He runs up and starts trying to move the large branch off them.*

It's okay, I gotcha both---!
Kaaaaa---ttoooo--- BING!!

*He pushes and pushes with all his strength and eventually, he's able to move the large branch off of Gongenzaka's back.*

Are you guys okay?!

[Gongenzaka immediately rolls over onto his back and lets out a breath of relief. He's about to thank Yuma, when something occurs to him.]

Hrrrgh!

[He immediately lunges and wraps his arm around Yuya's waist from behind before he can get up and do anything.]

*Yuya continues to yell and thrash about wildly when Gonegnzaka grabs him. Yuma quickly moves to help try and restrain him.
It's very obvious that something isn't right here.*

W-what's going on?! Why is Yuya acting like this?

We don't know. I had sensed something was wrong around Yuya, but... I didn't think it would be this overwhelming.

I think it might have something to do with those people lying nearby, but...

*people? If Yuma looks, he does notice three blue-uniformed people in masks still knocked out cold on the ground...*

S-something's wrong with him...! We have to stop him from getting away! [Gongenzaka doesn't understand anything about what's going on but after that duel, he understands that Yuya is dangerous. They have to keep him restrained.]

*Yuma glances over at the weird uniformed people who are out cold on the ground, wondering who exactly they are, but right now, restraining Yuya so he can't do any harm to anyone or himself was the top priority.*

Man, it's like he's possessed or something! He won't stop moving!!

*He then looks over at Shirou.*

Shirou! You can sense things, right?
Can you tell what's going on with him at all?!

Well...

*he turns his head towards Yuya, but it's almost like he's afraid to really... "look" at him. Whatever he's sensing must be pretty bad, but he takes a deep breath.*

I'll describe it as much as I'm able to, so bear with me, here...

But I sense an overwhelming animosity. Swirling, suffocating. But at the same time, I can tell that Yuya is there, underneath the surface...

... along with one other.

*As soon as Shirou finishes what he is saying, Yuya lets out one final loud strained yell, before his eyes glaze over and gradually close.

He's completely passed out.*
