*It's the seventh day of the Festival, in the morning.

And to a lot of people's surprise, it seems like everything's getting packed up. Most of the booths and stands are closed down and getting put away, but it looks like the day's main event is still planned to commence. On the schedules everyone can access, there is only one event for the arena: "Wonder Quartet".

Up until this point, everyone assumed this to be basically a regular tournament to top off the event while everyone enjoyed their final day, but it seems like there's something more, with how hurried the organizers are.

Notably though, around the areas where screens are set up to show dueling video, online streams, and at the arena, there's two countdowns present-- one being for in a few minutes to something simply noted as "Announcement", and the other being for the oft-rumored "Wonder Quartet", a half-hour after that, starting at noon.

Best thing to do right now is to head for the arena, or watch one of the screens present or on your computer/phone/internet device of your choice.*

[Shun turns and starts to walk away.]

[And Yuzu almost lets him go, but--]

Y'know, I know things have been really hard for you and Yuto, but you don't have to be such an asshole ALL THE TIME, y'know!

You're not the only one who's worried about Yuto! You're not the only one who wants to find him and Ruri! And you're DEFINITELY not the only one who's been hurt by these Academia dudes! SO why don't you just drop the glaring tough guy I only talk with my fists routine for like five seconds and work with us, instead?!

[Shun actually stops for a second. He looks back at Yuzu. When he speaks, he doesn't sound angry or dismissive, just....so...very exhausted.]

Because everybody I work with winds up dead.

[And that...pretty much stops Yuzu in her tracks.

A very awkward silence hangs over the two of them for a solid minute or so. Yuzu eventually rubs the back of her head and lets out a breath.]

Okay...

Look, Kurosaki...

OUT OF MY WAY!

::An explosion rocks as you hear two LP counters click to zero, as two Knight themed Duelists fly by. Yuzu, your doppelganger approaches with that cat like dancer hovering behind her.::

WHATTHEHECK--?!

[Yuzu is immediately dropped on her butt, looking around frantically. Kurosaki stays on his feet, staring straight ahead.

Yuzu's eyes widen as she looks in front of her and sees...

'A girl with the same face as me.']

Y-you...

Are you...Ruri?!

[Shun's eyes narrow. He spent a long time deluding himself into thinking Yuzu might be Ruri.

He knows that this is not Ruri.]

::Looks over at Yuzu briefly and ignores her, turning her focus immediately to Shun. And points to him.::

You, the Bombarding Falcon. Duel me in the name of Academia!

A-Academia....?!

[Shun activates his Duel Disk.]

Come. I don't care if you're parading her face in front of me, I'll destroy you like the rest!

::Fires up her Duel Disk again.::

I don't know who 'she' is, or why she looks me, nor do I care. I have one mission, your head! Duel!

DUEL!

H-hey, hey, guys, wait a second--!

Surrender peacefully, and no one gets hurt but The Falcon.

::... That voice sounds far too familiar, Yuzu.::

[Yuzu's eyes widen.]

Th...that's...!

*As Yuzu recognizes the voice, multiple uniformed guys suddenly storm in, duel disks at ready, the hardlight resembling a sword. Their faces covered in demonic looking masks. They waste no time in surrounding Yuzu, Serena, and Shun.*

Yuzu, if you'll come quietly along with Her Ladyship, this will all go very smoothly.

Like hell I'm going back right now and going to let you steal my kill!

No worries, Mi Lady! I'll be sure to give you credit for helping bring in Kurosaki Shun.

*one of the masked men-- one with a blue jewel-- speaks up*

Just stand behind us, our Ladyship! We'll handle this terrorist while you're escorted back to the safety of Academia.
