[DUEL FESTIVAL - DAY 7]
*It's the seventh day of the Festival, in the morning.
And to a lot of people's surprise, it seems like everything's getting packed up. Most of the booths and stands are closed down and getting put away, but it looks like the day's main event is still planned to commence. On the schedules everyone can access, there is only one event for the arena: "Wonder Quartet".
Up until this point, everyone assumed this to be basically a regular tournament to top off the event while everyone enjoyed their final day, but it seems like there's something more, with how hurried the organizers are.
Notably though, around the areas where screens are set up to show dueling video, online streams, and at the arena, there's two countdowns present-- one being for in a few minutes to something simply noted as "Announcement", and the other being for the oft-rumored "Wonder Quartet", a half-hour after that, starting at noon.
Best thing to do right now is to head for the arena, or watch one of the screens present or on your computer/phone/internet device of your choice.*

Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Traptrix Myrmeleo attacks directly!
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
He shakes his head, getting the leaves out of his hair, before moving again. At the current rate, they should reach the outskirts and start seeing the signs of the Glacial Zone soon...*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Turn end.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
I draw!
Now that Beast is gone... activate, Shaddoll Fusion! I fuse Shaddoll Falco and Necro Gardna in my hand-- Fusion Summon! El Shaddoll Winda! (2200/800)
*... well, considering what just happened to you recently, this has to be an awkward sight to see. Falco meanwhile sets itself next to the newly formed Winda, as she readies her staff*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
[Isabel's eyes narrow.]
Reverse card, open! Fiendish Chain on El Shaddoll Winda!
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Another "tch" sound from Kou, understandably.*
I end my turn!
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Summon Naturia Hunter Aussa! (1000/1500) Aussa's first effect adds Naturia Pumpkin to my hand! And Aussa's second effect... [She sends Naturia Rosewhip from her hand to her graveyard.] ...summon a Naturia Plant token! (0/0)
Naturia Sacred Tree's effect releases the Naturia Plant Token to summon the insect-type Naturia Butterfly from my deck! (500/1200) I tune the level 3 Naturia Butterfly and the level 4 Naturia Hunter Aussa! [Butterfly turns into 3 rings that surround Aussa. (3+4=7)]
SYNCHRO SUMMON! Level 7, Black Rose Dragon! (2400/1800)
Banish Naturia Marron from my graveyard for Black Rose Dragon's effect! I flip your set monster to attack position and reduce its ATK to 0!
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
But it gives out a pitiable squawking sound, calling out for it's companion-- Shaddoll Dragon. Which sets itself next to his restrained monsters.*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Activate, Block Draw! *a barrier appears around Winda for but a moment, repelling Black Rose Dragon's attack, as he draws.*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Set one card. Turn end.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
*he draws his card, and then in the same motion, points out at the Fiendish Chain*
Banish Galaxy Cyclone! Destroy the Fiendish Chain!
*a cyclone whips up from nowhere, ramming into the card and breaking apart the cards, before sending it upwards into the sky. Winda stretches after being freed, as he straightens himself up.*
Next, I summon Lyla, Lightsworn Sorcress! (1700/200) I use her effect to destroy your set card! *Lyla appears, before kneeling, chanting a spell as motes of light appear around your card, before shooting into it*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
*Dragon seems to just erupt from the set card, letting out an unnatural roar, strings shooting out to grab at Black Rose Dragon, before pulling and spinning them back.*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
*Minerva forms from the Network, two materials floating around her, as her owl friend flutters next to her.*
I detach a material to mill the top three cards of my deck. *the dark material vanishes, as Minerva waves her staff. three cards go: Curse of the Shadow Prison, Raiden, and Lyla, as he draws two cards*
Battle! Winda, attack Gigantes! *Winda charges forth on the puppet Pulao, staff at ready to hit Gigantes, crackling with an unknown magic*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Sacred Tree's effect adds Naturia Hunter Cricketblade to my hand when it's sent to the graveyard.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Minerva, attack Aussa! *Minerva holds out her hand, as the owl goes at Aussa, raking with it's talons*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
*the card appears, as he stops for a moment to brace himself--
but then that's when they both start to hear it. Yelling in the distance. Crashing sounds. He looks around, honestly confused for a moment.*
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
-- she stops. Her ears twitch. She looks up. She looks around.]
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
And you're definitely hearing yelling. screams, at that. That doesn't sound right at all. the atmosphere seems tense as well.*
... This... definitely wasn't happening an hour ago.
Re: [Festival Area - Jungle Zone]
[Isabel grimaces. This. This really doesn't feel like dueling in a tournament. The explosions, maybe, but people usually don't scream like that, no matter how rough a tourney duel gets.]
...this isn't part of the tournament.
