[DUEL FESTIVAL - DAY 7]

*It's the seventh day of the Festival, in the morning.

And to a lot of people's surprise, it seems like everything's getting packed up. Most of the booths and stands are closed down and getting put away, but it looks like the day's main event is still planned to commence. On the schedules everyone can access, there is only one event for the arena: "Wonder Quartet".

Up until this point, everyone assumed this to be basically a regular tournament to top off the event while everyone enjoyed their final day, but it seems like there's something more, with how hurried the organizers are.

Notably though, around the areas where screens are set up to show dueling video, online streams, and at the arena, there's two countdowns present-- one being for in a few minutes to something simply noted as "Announcement", and the other being for the oft-rumored "Wonder Quartet", a half-hour after that, starting at noon.

Best thing to do right now is to head for the arena, or watch one of the screens present or on your computer/phone/internet device of your choice.*

::A huge volcanic region rolls over the factories and warehouses of Domino's main industrial zones, and along with it are eerie demonic buildings, lava filled caverns, and strange metalworks covering the area,::

Example Locations:

■ Mt. Burning Blood
The volcano at the heart of the Volcano Zone, it pretty much is the most visible thing in the Wonder Quartet, it's also probably the most hazardous field to get involved in.

■ Haunted Demon Den
A demonic temple located deep in the Volcano Zone, it is only made more ominous by the volcanic fumes and rolling lava rivers surronded the area, not mention the miasma fog.

■ The Grand Laval Workshop
A giant smithery for forging weapons, through which the rivers of lava flow.

■ Citadel of the Thought Ruler
A location straddling the Volcano and Ruins Zones, it is very obvious for anyone who has traveled to the Mental Sphere, that it is the central fortress of the Mental Sphere with the titular Mental Sphere (or a cheap knock off of it at least) hovering over the building which is half surrounded by ruins and half hangs over a fall into a river of lava.

But he did end up at... basically the middle of the Volcano Zone, heading towards what seems to be the most clear landmark, a temple.

How did he end up here and not somewhere with water.*

::Parked in a random clear spot among the volcanic crags is a Samasu. With a booth. With a truck behind her. You can't enter the truck. Because she has keys. The booth has a sign on top reading "Essentials" (with a second sign reading "This is a Conflict Free Area". So it might be best to not Duel here or else you might get in trouble.)

A sign board next to the booth lists DP & Yen prices:
• Food
• Water
• Changes of Clothes
• Energy Drinks
• "Lines of Credit"
• And being able to turn in a Shard of Power for Cards.

But frankly though, the attendee's mostly playing games on her smartphone.::

*Yuma is currently in the volcano zone around the the border between the volcano and ruin zones. Despite the heat from the lava, he seems to be having fun exploring the area.*

I shoulda gone for the harbor... [Yuzu's wiping her forehead as she travels through the Volcano Zone. Eventually, she comes to the "Citadel of the Thought Ruler". When she does, she lets out a scoff.] Oh, this is all wrong. This is totally inaccurate, I am so gonna send them an e-mail about this.

He needs to call up Reiji, and fast. Especially before he gets noticed.*

Think we lost them. [Alexandra eventually comes to a stop with Hibiki in the Haunted Demon Den. They were covering their escape from Obelisk Force with smoke grenades and coming to a place where there's fog everywhere to continue cloaking them from sight is probably the beast approach for the moment. Once they've stopped, Alexandra lets Serena off her shoulders and glances over.] Hibiki, you doing okay?
