[Event Post] Kaikori: The Eye of the Storm
::So anyone implicated with the disaster at Heartland City, you've been hurried away into Kaikori, the private gated community owned by the Wakahisa family.
It is a surreal place, caught in perpetual twilight. Resembling Ballonlea and Glimwood Tangle from Pokemon Sword & Shield, except the mushrooms are replaced with crystals growing out the ground and trees, it centers around a circle of shops and buildings including a convenience store, a gym, a small school to tutor the children of Noriko's friends and key employees, before branching out into company apartments to the south east, a motel and an inn to the west, and private homes in the North West to North to North East.
Perhaps you would like to take a break, interact with others, and breath before things likely get worse.
Fortunately, every time the government seems to come into Kaikori, they've been unable to locate Yamamoto Suzume, Wakahisa Noriko, or Mr. and Mrs. Tsukumo. So for now.
A piece of twilight paradise before things likely get so much worse.::

Yeah. Sorry about this, Shikou.

... Let an entire park be consumed by one of the things from the primordial oceans of chaos, obsessed with learning how to put together a human... ish body.
I tend to make things worse.
::Sighs painfully.::

Did even more things happen that weren't just "apparently there was a nuclear threat"?
no subject
Yes, I was stuck in Heartland Park creating a mobius strip time loop and trying to contain a 'Demon' for nearly a year!
... We need a better term for those things besides 'Demon'.

Abyssals. Primordials. Primal Horrors. Chaosians? We can workshop a name for them that isn't Demon because that feels well, rude to people from Makai and well.
::Motions to herself.::

... but that's besides the point. Are you saying that because you were focused on that, it made the situation escalate to... this?

The other Suzume wanted me to come with her and go back home so she can turn this entire reality into compost so her Suzaku doesn't turn into a Magical Girl anime poster.

I think we should give peace and cooperation a chance, as the Eastern Empress of Japan is very 'if all you understand is hammers, everything sure looks like nails'.

no subject
Yes. I think so at least.
It just requires something that we haven't located yet.
no subject
... Can you tell me what it is?

A world distinct enough from either of ours, since your world here faces its own stability problems.
Basically both our worlds need a blood transfusion due to critical errors in history and reality.
Would you like a pipe to smoke from? I find it a soothing habit.
::Smoking from her own, the long kind of pipe you'd see in something like xxxHolic::
no subject
*you are a bundle of bad choices.*
So the problem is finding a world that would fix both of our problems, but it still runs into the logistical issue of "something needs to be sacrificed to ensure our stability". I know that... it's something that's been an issue, but I don't really know how one is supposed to find these other worlds in the first place...
no subject
What sacrifice?
The bigger issue is opening the 'doors' to each other to the critical infrastructure is a huge pain in the ass.
And uh. I unno, you know them when you find them, I've done it a few times but it's all Elephant Test logic.

Do you think I'd suggest options that result in murder?
How long have you known me.
::Poutttttttt.::

It doesn't need to sustain but we need an initial burst and people from both our sides need to be able to study a world that hasn't been ripped to shreds twenty times by increasingly mad Gods and things from The Primordial Abyss or The World Unmade, or worse, The Tohu Wa-Bohu.
Or idiotic bald fascists.
no subject
Of course, I'm sure it's a bit of a "needle in a haystack" situation, right?
no subject
Yup, but it's solvable. They're rarer than you think but not so rare that I'm proposing a ludicrous long shot.
The more immediate problem is the hot-headed warmongering alternate version of your wife has a really bad but justified tendency towards "All problems can be solved with the proper allocation of violence" which she has not let up since she became Empress and sank the U.S. Pacific Navy and the People's Navy of China that were sent to Japan.
no subject
... is there anything I could actually do, about that?
no subject
With regards to which part, Dahling.
